And so I return, back from The Land of The Undead - or my college final major project. Got to love to be so engrossed in a project that all other things in life seem to be irrelevant. But it's done! There will be a post on that later on down the road, a little photoshoot I feeling... and a little pompon jumpsuit action to crawl it's way through as well. Well we should get back to the point, on my travels through the shop floor at work, I saw a pretty little skirt made from corduroy and a few from denim, a few buttons in the middle and oh so 70's. As I am a student I could not afford this luxury, very sad for me, and then a project from last year - decay, from the fashion show post- showed up with a velvet underskirt! I was in some form of fashion heaven! Well who could blame me this velvet is so soft to touch ,and this colour! Can we please talk about the sun rays radiating from this skirt! I feel like I am wearing pure gold! I fall in love just a little bit each time I see or touch this fabric, I feel this makes me a proper fashion student. Love a beautiful piece of fabric. So this is the story behind my skirt, originally hide as an underskirt but now takes pride of place in my wardrobe. And saves me a little money . But I advise you to take yourself down to Topshop and get one of these skirts, you will be seeing them every where this summer as I have! The ultimate 70's festival summer piece!
COAT :- Dorothy Perkins, JUMPER:- Primark I believe (or a hand-me-down from my sister), TROUSERS:- Vintage, SHOES:- ASOS.
I am currently sat watching a programme which is enlightening me to which mushrooms to pick and listening to my dad sing Sam Smith and Naughty Boy La La La.......
The joys of the Hibbert household.
So this is what I spent my Sunday completing. These trousers were once a pair of palazzos, huge things they were -I felt like I had a tent to each leg. So enough was enough, I don't know what possessed me to by puny them in the first place. I pinned and pricked my sister and hacked away to
create a new pair of spring/summer trousers, although they feel like pj bottoms, so damn comfy. I did add a two pockets to the bum but let's not look at them and their miss matching heights, moving on swiftly - talents only excelled with time and experience.
The nettle soup on this show looks smashing...
Although I am looking into becoming a Vegan, going to full mile... Fully turning. I am already Vegetarian, that I can't spell and had to rely on the iPad auto correct, but on a serious note -after following Hannah Snowdon on Instagram- I have been shown that animals aren't just treated cruel in the food industry but all other industries as well. Of course I had some knowledge to these happenings but I didn't realise to the extent that these a users go to. It shocks me that these events are still going on, i just researched into an Owl bar that would be opened in London which is basically for people to drink alcohol and pet Owls. I do not have the words to describe just how silly an idea like this is. Also with Zoos on top of shopping markets, where the animals have no fresh air and kept in cramped conditions.
SHIRT:- Topshop, JACKET:- My dad's which I stole quickly for these photos, SLIPPERS:- probably my sister, SKIRT:- knocked up by me.
so recently I have found myself feeling slightly awkward around the camera, might be because of my Christmas belly I still have, but started running again.... With my dog... Who fell up a curb, there is no hope for either of us. Moving on from that and my oddly looking face of today, some bad angles are happening here. I have been looking in my wardrobe and realised how many AWFUL pieces of clothing I have in my possession, if I ever have the chance to time travel I will have a few questions to my young self. So it was time for a revamp, this was originally a black dress, with no shape to it whatsoever - a mixture of a gothic hippie.... It made me cringe. So snip snip with the scissors and chop it in half, ooo the fun. I did mess up on the waist band a little but bloody velvet drives me insane !!! It's o so nice but a bloody horrible to sew!! next up a pair of over sized trouser into tailor ones.
Here's a little pic of a skinnier me and the hideous dress

HELLO!!! Hello hellooooo! I do not have much to report other than being busy with portfolios and interviews- well one for Brighton ;);) That one went well :) But look I can finally take pictures in the sunlight instead of capturing the darkened sky. It is a rush to do so though.
On to the fashion side of things! I am loving a good neck tie at the moment, actually cleaning my room and finding all the scarves i have collected over the years has resurrected this love. This clashing snake print and the hounds tooth is b.e.a.uuutiful!!!
I feel don't have much to say today other than to leave you with this amazing picture of Brighton. I may have more to say once I finish this project and show you all what I have been up to for the past month... Brilliance and tacky all in one mixed with a little bit of The Lorax ;)

SHIRT:- Vintage, SKIRT;- Matalan, SHOES;- Dr Martens, HAT;- Homemade by mumma hibb and of course the glittery socks from Topshop.
Back again with a little bit of a grunge feeling as being a fashion student is stressful!! But worth it in the end, you shall be.... intrigued.... by the coat that I am creating at the moment, there could be a sneak peak at soon ;) oo the suspense. It will look increds ;) Baggy shirts are my besties at the moment, the warmth and comfort they behold its amazing, and it feels like I am still in bed, even much so that i am constantly falling asleep on the bus - my head does that whole floppy thing where you jump because you release you head has dropped, best thing for that is my coat with the fluffy collar, it's like a portable head rest, what a beautiful creation. Also this hat helps covered them droopy eyelids, if i pull it down enough they will not see these eyes. Take these pro-cations and no-one shall know you are sleeping - the words of wisdom for the day.
Also i am on the prowl for a pair of bad ass shoes, sky high with some crazy design on them. Trust me once you see this coat you will understand.
Here is a little hint to the theme :-
I get so tired of people saying, 'Oh, you only make fantasy films and this and that', and I'm like, 'Well no, fantasy is reality', that's what Lewis Carroll showed in his work. - Tim Burton

My little ducklings look at my hair!! I have grown to embrace the blueness, even turning the sky a shade of blue. I apologise for the lack of shoes, being back to college and all - feeling a little lazy. But I am loving this boho grunge look at the moment, lets bring back the hippie fashion!!!
